NEARLY £400,000 is being spent at the Royal Bolton Hospital to accomodate a second CT scanner.
The scanner, which can detect cancers and other diseases, will be housed near to the main entrance of the hospital. The project, costing £374,000, is hoped to be complete by mid-October. The lottery's New Opportunities Fund has helped pay for the scanner.
