YOUNG sports enthusiasts are being encouraged to enter this year's OCS Young Sportsperson of the Year Awards.
Entries for the awards, which are in their seventh year, must be submitted by July 31.
The competition offers the chance for young people who are still at school or college to win up to £10,500.
One disabled and eight regional winners will this year each receive a cash prize of £2,500.
The overall winner also receives an additional cash prize of £3,000, plus sponsorship worth £5,000. Their school or club will benefit from £2,500 to be used to purchase sports equipment.
