HOUGHTON Weavers' singer Tony Berry opened Daisy Hill Cricket Club's first summer fete at the weekend.
He was joined at the club's ground in St James Street by Daisy Hill Festival Rosebud Dominique Haslam, left; Pageboy Joseph Kay, and Princess Toni Smith.
The youngsters were raising funds for Medicalert and Pendlebury Children's Hospital.
Attractions included a beat the goalie, target golf and beat the batsmen games, a bouncy castle, fairground rides, a barbecue and stalls.
