AN INTERACTIVE exhibition to highlight the experiences of asylum seekers has opened in Bolton.
The exhibition, at the Victoria Hall in Knowsley Street until Saturday, is being staged by Befriending Refugees and Asylum Seekers (BRASS).
Exhibition co-ordinator Pam Whitelaw said: "People are given a set of headphones and go through the exhibition in seven stages.
"They are put in an interrogation room and shouted at in a foreign language, put on a plane, in a prison and in temporary accommodation. It shows just what it is like to leave your home country and all your family and friends.
The free exhibition, in the hall's Wesley Suite, is from 10am and 4pm.
