CONGRATULATIONS to all those who ran a mile for Sport Relief at the weekend.
This includes Prince William who turned up unexpectedly with his brother Prince Harry (who didn't race because he'd injured his knee) at the London run.
He finished in a very respectable six minutes and 10 seconds, and joked that his brother could have done better. But it did give the crowds and the country a personal insight into a pleasant, normal-seeming young man who looks like he might revive our national respect for a monarchy which has seemed increasingly remote from its subjects.
