WHO do these people think they are, wanting to move a war memorial just so they can make more money. Do they not realise that the soldiers fought and died for this country.
The memorial was put there in memory of the local soldiers and should be left alone.
I think I can speak for all serving members and the old comrades association of The Bolton Artillery when I say "leave the memorials alone".
I urge all people who oppose this plan to write to the planing committee and voice their feelings.
