A DRIVER being questioned over a car crash which left two people dead and three young girls seriously injured is due to answer bail on Thursday.
The 21-year-old, from the Bolton area, was arrested on May 1, after a red Mazda MX-5 mounted the pavement on Bradford Street, Bolton, in the early hours and ploughed into a crowd of schoolgirls.
The car then hit a lamp-post, catapulting two passengers, a man and a woman, out of the vehicle.
They were both killed instantly.
Three 14-year-old girls remain in hospital following the crash.
