LEGENDARY Beach Boy Brian Wilson arrives in the North-west this month to promote his new album as well as tracks from his unreleased masterpiece Smile.
Smile is produced by the acclaimed singer/songwriter and will feature a 10-piece band.
The solo album, Gettin' In Over My Head - his first for six years - was released last month.
It features guest appearances from Eric Clapton, Elton John, Paul McCartmey and his late brother Carl Wilson.
In June, the musical maestro was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame along with late composer Henry Mancini and violinist Sarah Chang.
This week, stars were announced for the world premier of the Wilson-inspired show Good Vibrations.
Justin Guarini, who finished second in the American Idol series, will take the stage in a musical that follows the romantic misadventures of a group of teens on a "life-changing odyssey" to the beaches of southern California.
This month, Brian Wilson is perfoming at Manchester's Apollo Theatre next Thursday at 7.45pm.
For tickets, costing £40 to £50, call the Box Office on 0870 401 8000 or visit the website at www.getLive.co.uk.
