LABOUR have been out in force in various parts of the Bury explaining how the work they do in Europe has benefited the town and the region.
Topping the Labour list of candidates is Radcliffe-based Gary Titley, leader of Britain's Labour MEPs in Europe, hoping for a fourth term at Brussels.
The latest Red Rose visitor has been Theresa Griffin, number five on the Labour list, who has been to the Pimhole Renewal Area and Redvales parts of the town.
Labour say their European efforts have help bring in paid holidays and longer maternity leave, equal rights for part-time workers, greater investment in the region and tough laws to clean up the environment.
