A BITING allegation left a sour taste following this excellent Lynx win.
The claim was made by Eagles' hooker Scott Collins against an unnamed Chorley player.
Referee Phil Bentham has put the incident on report.
The incident will now be reviewed by the Rugby Football League, who will decide whether the matter should be referred to the disciplinary committee
Chorley's tries came from Parry (2), Stenhouse and Barton, with Capewell landing seven goals.
It was a battling performance from Lynx who came from behind to lead by six points with 10 minutes remaining, finally clinching victory with a late try.
And it was revenge for losing to Eagles at Victory Park ealrier in the season.
There was also action at Victory Park on Saturday when Oldham overturned a 10-6 half-time deficit to beat Halifax 24-14.
