CHORLEY Harrier Richard Burney took first place at the Wheelton Village Thirsty Three with fellow club mate Sarah Scarrott taking the first lady prize.
Gary Nolan had a good run to finish in ninth place. Several families turned out together to compete and the club's junior coach Rick Bennett's three-year-old daughter Phoebe completed the fun run.
Gareth Booth enjoyed yet another good in the third race in the Chorley Harriers Four mile night series finishing in 18th place on the night. This gives him fifth place overall in the series.
With one more race to come on August 4, he is hoping for a top three finish.
There was another notable run by Chris Greenbank who has progressed through the junior ranks and is now competing against the seniors and finishing in 50th place with a credible time of 24mins 11.
Several Harriers took part in the Tockhole Fell race. Nearly six miles of running round the fells of Darwen that saw Gareth Booth first home for the club in 41 mins 37 with the ever-improving Karl Pitt just a few minutes behind.
Peter Gillham finished in 48 mins 42 and Pete Starkey 52 mins 53. Jenny Wiseman continues to enjoy the fells and pleased with 53 mins 06 with Nicola Raby and Anna Maria Crabtree completing the team.
David Hargreaves was the sole representative at the tough Skipton 10 and finished in 82 minutes.
