BOLTON U13s' success in the Hacking Cup continued as they reached the semi finals, beating Blackburn U13s by five wickets.
Bolton started as underdogs, with Blackburn including four Lancashire junior players.
An accurate bowling performance by David Flanagan restricted Blackburn to 114 runs but a good start to Bolton's reply by James Hart's 24 runs was halted when the middle order collapsed.
Fortunately a solid innings by Chris Baxendale (25) and Philip Cavill (15), helped Bolton to victory, after reaching a total of 115 for 5.
Bolton now face Bury in the semi finals on Friday, July 23.
The Bolton U13s League side will be playing at Northern Cricket Club, Merseyside on Sunday, July 25, at 2pm.
