Westhoughton High School is a winner in this year's Westhoughton In Bloom competition.
Pupils who transformed a patch of land in the school's grounds into an oasis of shrubs, flowers and wildlife won the award for best school. The school used grants and equipment donated by local firms to create the garden, which includes a pond and greenhouse.
