FANS of pop band Liberty X didn't have to think it over when they heard their heroes would be performing at the Reebok Stadium on Friday night.
Almost 4,000 youngsters, many with their parents, packed the South stand of the ground to make it the most successful yet in the Big Light On series of concerts.
The band -- Jessica, Kevin, Kelli, Tony and Michelle -- may have come to the public's attention for losing out to Hear'say on ITV1's Popstars -- but for their fans last night they were not second best.
The crowds were thrilled as the five danced and sang their way through all their favourites, including tracks from their double platinum debut album Thinking It Over.
Gareth Moores, Bolton Wanderers commercial director, said: "It has been another very successful evening for the club.
"We never really knew what to expect with these concerts but it has been very encouraging for the future. I am sure the crowds will continue to grow."
Sophistication is the name of the game at Saturday night's concert at the stadium. Shaken Not Stirred is a James Bond themed musical extravaganza featuring former Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley. And on Sunday night the Big Light On series is rounded off by West End star Michael Ball.
