I AM deeply concerned by proposals to move the Dunscar War Memorial.
I am 15 years of age and pass this mark of respect devoted to the men who died for us and view it in total awe.
I realise that this all comes down to money, but would prefer to stand up and be counted as one that is against this distasteful scheme.
I feel that it is my duty and, quite possibly, the most patriotic duty I and others protesting against this scheme will ever do.
For this reason I plead for other people who live in this area to write their own letters of objections. If enough of us make our voices heard, we can stop this senseless and unwanted development.
Let us try while there is still time.
