EIGHT people have been arrested in early morning raids targeting gang-related gun crime in south Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police were acting on intelligence gathered after guns were brandished at the Manchester Royal Infirmary on April 23.
Officers searched 12 addresses in Moss Side, Longsight and Whalley Range on Tuesday, where they made the arrests and seized a firearm.
The men are being held on suspicion of violence and firearms offences.
