A MAN arrested at Bury Interchange bus station on suspicion of taking covert photographs of schoolgirls has been remanded in custody by magistrates to stand trial at the Crown Court.
Edward Douglas, aged 57, of Grampian Way, Chadderton, Oldham, faces one charge of outraging public decency at Bury and 17 charges of making indecent pseudo photographs of children.
He will appear at Bolton Crown Court on July 27.
Douglas, who is on incapacity benefit, did not enter a plea to the charges when he appeared at Bury Magistrates Court.
