WHY do people constantly support largely theoretical wildlife, rather than the fundamental need of human beings to have a home?
If houses are built on the wrecked land that was the Bellhouse Hartwell factory, there will still be a few hundred acres of land on the east side of the development, with only 76 houses on what is now rubble.
Like the Fish Fold Farm development, the proposed site is alongside a main road with fairly continuous traffic noise, which would in any case still annoy the largely distant wildlife.
Now that Fish Fold is almost finished, and still has noisy works going on, you can see the foxes, the heron, and the odd rabbit and hedgehog.
What do they want there - alpacas or giraffes?
It now has around 100 or more people with a home and an existence - some no doubt disturbed by A58 traffic.
