NEW clinical guidelines issued by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) say stroke patients should receive higher priority and faster treatment.
The RCP calls for faster diagnosis and treatment to prevent further strokes -- such as controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
The guidelines suggest patients who suffer from mini strokes should see a specialist within a week and receive preventative treatment immediately.
