REFERRING to the second letter (July 21) from Mr James R Whitten, Wirral.
His explanation of how the War Memorial will look in its "new home" is of little importance, as this proposed building project is all to do with making money - nothing more, nothing less.
My father was born at Dunscar Fold Farm (1892), and my roots are in Dunscar.
There must be no building, and the War Memorial must stay put.
