LUQMAN Issa smashed a six in the final over to give Lostock their first league win of the season.
Issa's flourish ensured a three-wicket victory over a weakened Adlington side at the end of an enthralling encounter.
Lostock professional Lukman Vahaluwala was the star performer, taking seven wickets for 49 runs to restrict the visitors -- missing six first-teamers -- to 141-9. Mike Rawlings was Adlington's top scorer with 68. Graham Haddon then took 4-41 to slow Lostock's progress with the bat, but Vahaluwala's 56 runs proved crucial in setting up their big finish.
Darron Foy took eight wickets and hit 45 runs as Elton reasserted their championship credentials by picking up a maximum 20 points in victory over Spring View.
Foy's 8-48 came as the visitors made 165-9 -- Arindham Sarkar hitting 43 -- a target which Elton passed with five wickets to spare, thanks partly to an unbeaten 60 from Michael Hall.
Title rivals Atherton matched Elton's achievement with their own 20-point victory at Little Hulton.
Carl Brown (85), Phil West (68) and Neil Bannister (56 not out) all hit impressive scores as Atherton notched 255-5.
Professional Lee Childs then completed the job by taking 5-40 as Little Hulton were skittled out for 104, despite 45 runs from Stuart Hutchinson.
Last season's champions Walshaw chalked up a 103-run victory at Blackrod, with Tony Kelly hitting 83 in their tally of 216-5. A gutsy performance from Jabir Namajee, batting at number nine, saw him add 35 to Blackrod's total, but they were eventually dismissed for 113.
Elsewhere, David Hamilton scored 43 runs as Clifton, having dismissed Golborne for 115, beat them by seven wickets.
Standish were beaten after losing their final wicket just seven runs short of victory against Edgworth, whose score of 168 prove enough.
And at Darcy Lever, Davendra Bundela hit 74 runs and took 4-48 to help his team beat Daisy Hill by 14 runs.
