IF you drive down College Way, Bolton, you pass the Eagle campus of Bolton Institute.
Part of the premises there used to house the Bolton Eagle Spinning Co Ltd - a worsted spinning mill.
Roland Stott, of Stubbins Vale Road, Stubbins, Ramsbottom, called in the other day to show me the 1935 photographs which appear on this page.
Mr Stott, aged 82, was a supervisor in the drawing room and worked there for more than 30 years until 1969.
He rescued the pictures when they were being thrown out around 1949.
Mr Stott would like to hear from anyone who remembers him from those days.
His telephone number is 01706 823237.
