PLEASE let's put an end to the debate about what the voters in the June Elections wanted, once and for all.
I was a scrutineer when the votes were counted, and the only people who wanted shared power were the small number who placed their crosses on the ballot form against one candidate from each of the three parties.
Those who voted for three candidates from the same party -- which was the majority -- clearly wanted that particular party to take overall control.
I personally voted for the candidates whose principles I shared, and I would find it detestable if the people I voted for were to fall in line with the Lib Dems or anyone else.
If the Lib Dem candidates were not capable of running the Council, why did their candidates stand at all?
Leave the Lib Dems to get on with what they should be doing -- improving our roads, reducing Town Hall costs, locking up criminals and cleaning up our town. And, for us Bromley Cross residents, they could save our War Memorial.
