COUNCILLORS have delayed a decision on plans to convert a building into 23 apartments in Carlton Street, Farnworth, and will visit the site first.
The plans would involve demolishing the existing Victorian building in the quiet cul-de-sac, which is situated near the Bolton to Manchester railway line.
Residents in Carlton Street have objected due to the size of the proposed building and the impact on road safety.
