A SENIOR Bolton Council officer has withdrawn plans to demolish his bungalow and build three new houses.
Proposals submitted by Alan Fisher, head of commercial services at Bolton Council, to knock down his 1960s-style property on Grange Road, Bromley Cross, were not discussed by councillors at a planning meeting following their withdrawal.
The blueprints provoked the anger of neighbouring residents who delivered leaflets to hundreds of homes in the area.
Among 34 objections were received by the council arguing that the move would spoil the area and create more traffic.
