MANCHESTER United will unleash their full first-team squad on the star-studded Vodafone Cup four-team tournament they stage at Old Trafford next month.
A much-weakened 18-man United squad departed last week for a three-match tour of the United States.
But the big guns are due back when Sir Alex Ferguson's men do battle with PSV Eindhoven, world club champions Boca Juniors and Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds on August 3 and 5.
That is when the likes of Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Paul Scholes, and Louis Saha are set to resume club duties following the extended breaks granted ro them after Euro 2004.
The Vodafone Cup will also mark a first United appearance on home soil for another summer capture, Alan Smith.
Spectators will see two games for the price of one on each night.
The fixtures are: Tuesday, August 3 - 6:45: Boca Juniors v Urawa Red Diamonds. 9pm: Manchester United v PSV Eindhoven.
Thursday, August 5 - 6:45: Boca Juniors v PSV Eindhoven. 9pm: Manchester United v Urawa Red Diamonds
The four competing clubs are contracted to field their strongest line-ups.
Tickets for the Vodafone Cup are available by ringing 0870-442-1999 or logging on to www.manutd.com.
