VERNON Kay has revealed his plans to raise his firstborn as a Boltonian - even though it will be reared in London.
The TV star has joked that he will keep the child true to its northern roots by building a mini Reebok stadium at the family home.
The Radio 1 presenter and host of Channel 4's T4 says that since he does not get to spend much time in the north, he would have to create his own bit of Bolton at his London home.
Vernon, whose wife, TV presenter Tess Daly, is pregnant, is also keen to pass on his allegiance to Bolton Wanderers.
He said the child will be a Bolton Wanderers striker if it is a boy, and a cheerleader for the Super Whites if it is a girl.
And he has no plans to let a London upbringing influence his child's speech, stating that the baby will have a "right broad accent."
