NIGEL Lowe is the new Deane champion after he beat John Cheetham 6&5 in the final.
He had a tougher semi-final task against Andy Runciman whom he beat 3&2 while Cheetham had an easier 7&5 win over J Monks.
In the quarter-finals Runciman beat P Marsden 4&3, Cheetham beat R Hughes 6&5, Monks beat S Greenall Jnr 2&1 and Lowe beat S Barrett 2&1.
