A YOUNG mother-of-two from Leigh was found hanging at her home, an inquest has heard.
Michelle Lynch, who had two young daughters, was hanging from the back of a door at her home on Mersey Street, on January 29 this year. The 27-year-old had split up with her partner a day prior to her death, the inquest heard. In 1999, Miss Lynch had taken an overdose of anti-depressants and had a history of depression. She was said to have regularly threatened to kill herself and to have taken a large dose of anti-depressants before her death. Assistant Deputy Coroner Peter Saul recorded a verdict of accidental death because, he said, the anti-depressants could have impaired her judgement.
