LEGENDARY vocalist Tommy Hunt is set to play a one-off night of northern soul and rock & roll at a Bolton social club.
Pittsburgh-born Hunt, who made his mark on popular music as a member of the Flamingos in the late 1950's, will appear at the Rumworth Club, in Prescott Street, on Friday.
The Flamingos are best known for their biggest hit "I Only Have Eyes For You," which was released in the early 1960's before Hunt left the group in 1962.
He signed as a solo artist, releasing the album "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself" in late 1962.
The title track was made famous by legendary female vocalist Dusty Springfield almost two years later.
Hunt is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, an award which was presented to him by than Michael Jackson. Hunt will appear alongside Bolton's Johnny Pryers
Also well-known on the Northern Soul scene, Hunt will appear alongside Bolton's Johnny Pryers. who will perform songs from the genre.
The night, which will be titled "Pittsburg Vs Bolton," will start at 8pm. Tickets are priced at £8 and can be bought on the door.
