RESURFACING work to improve safety on motorways in Greater Manchester will affect motorists using the Eccles interchange with the M602.
The work, being carried out in the next few weeks, will require overnight lane and slip road closures.
Resurfacing and road marking work will affect the M62 eastbound and M60 clockwise at the Eccles interchange with M602 junction 12.
Work begins this week and will be carried out during off-peak and overnight hours between 9.30pm and 5.30am midweek and 9.30pm and 7am at weekends.
Diversions will be in place on the motorway network.
When the M62 eastbound to M602 link is closed, traffic will be diverted via Junction 13 at Worsley. When the M62 eastbound to M60 link is closed traffic will be diverted to M602 at Junction 2.
During work on the M60 clockwise to M62 westbound and M602 eastbound diversion will be via Junction 13.
