THE the online mathematics workbook publisher 10ticks.co.uk has been awarded one of only two runner-up awards in the national Hewlett Packard Business Vision Awards 2004.

The company, based in the Bolton Enterprise Centre, has been commended for demonstrating excellent innovation and creativity.

The company has won an HP Compaq Business Notebook NX5000, an HP PSC 2510 Photosmart all-in-one printer and six months of free HP printing supplies.

"To come runner up in a national competition is a great boost to morale," said Ian Fisher, 10ticks.co.uk director. "It shows we are delivering what our customer wants in an innovative and creative way. Next year we will strive to go one better."

The firm won the E-business of the Year award at the North Manchester Business awards in June. In six months time, 10ticks will have a case study published by HP Business Vision, looking at how microbusinesses use HP technology.
