A CONSUMER watchdog has criticised gas supplier Powergen as "callous" after a North-west pensioner was left with no gas in her home for three months.
Elizabeth Arji moved into her new home in Gee Cross, Hyde, in May -- but it is only due to get gas connected to her home this week. The retired businesswoman said Powergen treated her repeated complaints with "downright indifference".
A Powergen spokesman said the delay was the fault of gas company Transco.
