PLANS to change a Grade II listed former prison into a beauty salon have been delayed as planning bosses have failed to reach a decision on whether or not to approve them.
Salford Council planning bosses have received an application to change the Old Nick, in Barton Road, Worsley, from a residential house into a holistic and beauty therapy salon.
Five letters of objection have been made claiming the change would cause neighbouring homes to be overlooked and would affect the listed building.
Council officers have recommended that the plans should be approved.
They will be considered again on August 19.
