REVISED plans for a new multi-million pound police divisional headquarters have been submitted to Bolton Council.
The relocation of the nerve centre for Bolton police near the site of the former Burnden Park football stadium was approved by planning chiefs last year.
But building work was delayed following problems with a proposed access route.
Greater Manchester Police was forced to buy a small plot of land near to the site in Scholey Street to resolve the situation.
If the revised plans are approved, work on the new HQ could start before the end of the year.
