STARS from Coronation Street and Manchester City FC Old Boys will be dusting down their boots to raise money for Christie Hospital.
The all-star teams will be taking on sides from Christie Hospital on Sunday at the Manchester FA Football Ground, Brantingham Road, Chorlton.
Former City players Peter Barnes, David White, Jim Melrose, Nicky Reid and Neil Poynton are all taking part along with many of the stars of Coronation Street. The mini-tournament promises to be a fun day for the whole family as the Christie Hospital porters face Manchester City Old Boys at 12.30pm. The porters then take on Coronation Street at 1.45pm.
Tickets, which cost £4 for adults and £2 for children, are available from Dawn Rodgers at the Christie Hospital appeals office on 0161 446 3988. People can pay on the day.
