TILTING trains operating on the West Coast main line have had to have their toilets modified after they were found to be prone to overflows and blockages.
Alstom, the manufacturers of the state-of-the-art rolling stock on Virgin Trains' new Pendolino trains, is now working to solve the problem.
Sir Richard Branson's £600m fleet will travel at 125mph, and reduce the journey time from London to the North West of England and Scotland.
A Virgin Rail spokesman said: "We have identified the problem and hope the work will be complete before the new timetable
