BOLTON barber Darren Foster and his fiancee Sam Lilley, from Bury, are set to have their cake and eat it -- but it is up to TV viewers to decide which cake it will be.
The couple, who were selected to feature in GMTV's Wedding of 2004, are just three weeks away from marrying live on the ITV breakfast show in Paphos, Cyprus, on September 3.
Each week viewers have been voting to decide the details of the couple's big day. So far they have chosen the venue, invitations, dress, groom's outfit, wedding breakfast menu and flowers.
This week it is the cake and again there are three choices, all made by George Padioulis from Morellos caterers in Paphos, who holds the Guinness record for the world's longest cake.
Option A is a three-tier blue, ivory and gold Byzantine themed fruit cake, finished with gold fabric flowers on top.
Option B is a Cyprus Dream Cake, a three-tier cake decorated in ivory and real sea shells. Each tier is a different flavour -- chocolate, lemon and carrot cake.
Option C is the English Basketweave Cake. A traditional three-tier vanilla sponge cake with a jam and buttercream centre, decorated with fresh summer fruits.
Voting is already underway on the website at www.gmtv.co.uk. Phone lines and text voting are open between 7am and midday tomorrow. The results will be revealed on Friday.
OPTION A: Call 0901 890 0501 or text Option A to 84070
OPTION B: Call 0901 890 0502 or text Option B to 84070
OPTION C: Call 0901 890 0503 or text Option C to 84070
