BOLTON Sixth Form College has produced a booklet aimed at helping students understand the cultural traditions of the various ethnic groups within the college.
Through the booklet, Celebrating Diversity: Encouraging Integration, the college is aiming to remove misunderstandings and illusions about different beliefs and cultures.
Principal Roy Whittle said: "The College seeks to encourage a celebration of the diversity of its staff and students, but also to encourage an appreciation of what we share in common."
The booklet provides a brief outline of the different religions represented at the college, and provides information about the ethnic make-up of Bolton and the college.
