THREE children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster are celebrating their birthdays in Bolton.
A barbecue was held for Anna Denizhich, aged 10, Dmitry Shamich, aged 10 and Dima Maksimuk, aged 11.
The trio enjoyed a day of activities, and two large birthday cakes, at St Paul's Church, Peel, Little Hulton.
Although it rained, the barbecue still went ahead, and the children were treated to a birthday to remember.
The party was held in the church hall, and was organised by staff from Chernobyl Children's Lifeline's Peel Team Link.
The youngsters, who all hail from Stolin, are in the UK as part of a trip to provide respite to sick children.
Many of the children on the trip are in remission having suffered various forms of cancer as a result of growing up in Belarus.
