POP heart-throb Simon Webbe from chart-toppers Blue is set to wow Bolton youngsters in a rare appearance at an under-18s night later this month.
The Manchester-born star, who regularly plays to sold-out arena audiences alongside his bandmates, will perform in the more intimate surroundings of the Ikon nightclub.
Simon, who is originally from Moss Side, will appear live on stage at the Bridge Street venue, alongside American newcomers Lade on Monday, August 23.
The 25-year-old will play a DJ set on the night to entertain a crowd of teenagers aged 14 to 17.
It is a rare and low-key appearance for the star, who will return to the MEN Arena later this year to play to more than 20,000 fans.
And one lucky Bolton youngster will be chosen to meet Simon and Lade, and enjoy VIP treatment on the night.
There will also be chances for teenagers to win prizes and take part in fun games and competitions.
The night has been organised by soft drinks firm Tizer and UKClubculture, who aim to cater for the under-18s clubbing market and provide a safe night out for teenagers. They have organised 55 nights nationwide for youngsters during the holidays.
The Bolton night is one of just 12 dates at clubs across the country in which Simon will appear.
