WE were issued with a parking ticket on June 22. This was after being told by a parking attendant we had to just move up one bay and we were all right using my disabled badge.
I questioned it but was assured it was quite all right.
We appealed on the grounds that the parking attendant told us it would be OK. This was turned down.
If any parking attendant gives you permission to park, make sure you have their number and that they have a written note in their book, as it could become evidence in any dispute.
There are far too few parking spaces for disabled people near to the shops for people like myself with walking difficulties.
