THERE were screams of delight at bride-to-be Sam Lilley's home this morning, as the destinations for the hen and stag parties for TV's Wedding of the Year couple were revealed, live on GMTV.

Her fiance, Bolton barber Darren Foster, aged 31, will be whisked off to Derbyshire this weekend along with friends and family, for a day of quad biking and clay pigeon shooting.

They will then go on to Manchester where they will spend the evening at the Comedy Store. Speaking after the announcements, Darren, of Radcliffe, said: "It's a brilliant choice. I think all the stags will be happy with it. It might be a bit wet and muddy, but we'll have a great time."

In true hen night fashion, Sam, aged 23, and the girls, will enjoy a day of pampering at the five-star Lowry Hotel in Manchester. This will be followed by a meal at the Living Room in Deansgate, and dancing at the Lime Bar, before heading back to the Lowry where they will spend the night in luxury.

Also announced live on TV at Sam's house in Hollins, Bury, was the choice of wedding cake they will have when they tie the knot in Cyprus on September 3.

Viewers chose Sam's favourite cake, Option B - the Cypriot themed three-tier cake - which has three different flavours and is decorated with shells.

Sam said: "It sounds fantastic, I can't wait."

Viewers were also responsible for voting for the wedding venue, the bride's dress and bridegroom's suit, the menus and the invitations.
