THE Bolton Golf Association lost 13-5 to East Lancs Golf Association at Burnley on Sunday in very windy conditions.
The home side was too strong, going 5-1 ahead in the morning foursomes, and closed out the match with an 8-4 lead in the afternoon singles.
Ian Bond (Dunscar) was the top Bolton man with a 7&6 win against Ian Hardman (Accrington), having earlier won his foursomes with fellow Dunscar player Andy Taylor 4&3.
Taylor completed a great effort by the Dunscar pair, sharing a hard-fought half with Miles Wade of Clitheroe.
Other Bolton winners were Lee Davies (Hindley) 2&1, and Geoff Southern (Gt Lever) 3&2.
