RISK Takers jumped back to the top of the Naps table with an ambitious 25-1 punt on Smokin Beau.
The long time leaders have spent the last couple of weeks off pole position. But it was a case of them only loaning out top spot as they regained the leadership with the long shot winner of Haydock's opening race. None of their serious rivals managed a win with only 10 per cent of the 200 teams picking a winner. The next biggest winner was 14-1 Desert Quest in the 3.50 at Ascot which sent Wacky Walkers shooting up to 63rd.
It was also a good day for Arvin Aardvarks, Equinosity and Cake Makers who moved up to 20th, 38th and 117th on the back of 10-1 Justaquestion, winner of the 2.10 race at Ascot.
