ELVIS Presley fans will be all shook up on Monday when his real life cousin drops in to Bolton to help celebrate the life of the King of Rock and Roll.
Karen Sue Presley will meet Elvis fans and impersonators at The Bar, Nelson Square, to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the death of The King.
Miss Presley, who is in Blackpool for The Elvis Experience Show, agreed to attend after being contacted by bar owner Martin Cairns, an Elvis fanatic
Mr Cairns will be DJ playing all the hits by Elvis, while a huge picture Presley will be projected on to The Bar walls to add to the atmosphere.
The 52-year-old first cousin to Elvis, moved to Graceland from her home town of East Prairie, Missouri, where she spent most of her childhood with Elvis and his family.
Miss Presley became a tour guide at Graceland after he died in 1977 and now tours the world promoting everything about Elvis.
Caroline Hankey, events co-ordinator for The Bar, said: "We really wanted to do something special to remember the life of Elvis.
"Martin is a massive Elvis fan and was really keen to put on an event.
"We found out that Karen was appearing in Blackpool for two weeks in August and we contacted her by e-mail on the off chance.
"She answered straight away and agreed to come.
"Now we are all very excited about Monday. It's not everyday that a real life member of Elvis Presley's family comes to Bolton."
The Bar now wants as many Elvis lookalikes as possible to come to the free event - to pay homage to The King.
The Elvis Experience party will start at 7pm until late. For more details contact Caroline Hankey on 01204 526333.
