PLANNING bosses have approved an application for 23 apartments to be built in Farnworth despite objections from residents.
A three-storey building, housing the flats, will be erected on Carlton Street after a decision by Bolton Council's planning committee.
Neighbours were concerned that the development was out of proportion with the area and could attract gangs of unruly teenagers to the site.
The site lies within a quiet residential cul-de-sac next to the Bolton to Manchester railway line.
