ELTON took control of the Bolton Association title race after their bowlers came to the rescue at Darcy Lever.
Darron Foy and Peter Kay took four wickets each as Darcy were dismissed for just 58 runs in response to Elton's tally of 127 all out.
The win put Elton 28 points clear at the top of the table -- having played a game more than second-placed Atherton, who beat Lostock - and effectively ended Darcy Lever's hopes of winning the league.
On Saturday, Elton were five wicket winners over Little Hulton, while Atherton lost some ground after being held to a draw at Blackrod.
