UNIVERSITY students in Manchester have one of the lowest debt rates in the country, a survey says.
The student book, The Push Guide to Money, reveals that most owe more than £5,000, but students at the University of Manchester have debts of just over £1,000.
The survey says this is due to an abundance of part-time jobs and student accommodation in the city which helps keep students in the black.
