A LETTER to all those people who have no heart -- please just help me understand how some people can get an animal, love it for a while (while it's cute or convenient, or making them money by breeding), and then just give up on it, letting it roam the streets with no collar or microchip.
I find it heartbreaking. The last dog I found was so emaciated that I couldn't tell if it was male or female.
All animals need time, love, lots of attention and money for vet's bills, so please don't get one if you can't give it all of the above for the duration of its life.
Then maybe animal lovers like myself won't have to be haunted by images of dogs and cats in roads, or just ignorantly neglected.
